The Best Detective Series?
Hello everyone! Today, we will be reviewing the legendary character Sherlock Holmes, whom many of you might know from books, and its adaptation in the BBC series.
This production, which adapts the original character, set in the 1800s, to the present day, has truly done a fantastic job. Normally, adapting characters and stories from the 19th century to the modern era is quite challenging, but Sherlock's writer Steven Moffat has done an extraordinary job. He convinces us that the character could truly exist in the present day. The series consists of episodes lasting about 1.5 hours, with a total of 4 seasons and 13 episodes.
Now, let's get to the main plot of the series: it tells the story of the extraordinarily talented detective Sherlock Holmes and the military doctor John Watson, who returns from war. They meet and solve cases together. They share these cases on Dr. Watson's blog, and this leads them to encounter more cases. Throughout the story, many different characters make an appearance, and seeing Sherlock's interactions with them adds depth to the show.
In short, Sherlock is an iconic show in many ways, both countable and uncountable. If you haven’t watched it so far, you're definitely missing out on a lot!
